HfH of Wayne County NY an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, was incorporated in 1988 as a fully autonomous, nonprofit, tax exempt organization. The Board of Directors and Officers are a group of volunteers from many towns, various churches and civic organizations. The affiliate is responsible for its own local fund raising, and supports the work of Habitat International in other countries with a tithe of 10% of funds raised, unless requested to keep all of a donation in the county.

We have built or refurbished, 32 houses including refurbishing 6 of our earlier homes for new families:

Board of Director meetings are open to the public and are held at 7pm on the 3rd Monday of the month at the Cross Creek Church Building, Corner of Rt 31 & Vienna St, East side of Palmyra.

It is the time for You to consider your gifts, and where You can be used as we work to eliminate poverty housing in Wayne County.

Family Application Package can be downloaded here for more information for a Habitat House.  We only accept applications during certain advertised times. Currently applications being accepted June 1-30 2017.  Feel free to send us an eMail to be notified when a new cycle starts.

Many affiliates are in the general area so projects are available at all times, some in the country, others in villages and Rochester.

If you want to make a donation to help build homes in Wayne county send a check to the address below.  Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliates are a non profit charity.

Donate your vehicle to help build a house.  Over 80% of the money from the sale comes back to Wayne County to build homes.
